Sympathy card

Hi Everyone, I had to do a sympathy card for a former work colleague who had lost his wife. He was very difficult to make a card for as he is an atheist, doesn't really like to show emotion and he has had a bad few years.

I had a plan in my head that I felt would be suitable, then - you know what plans are like, due to circumstances I had to do it VERY quickly and I was visiting work the next day and was taking it to get his address and post the same time. I thought a Quick Page would help me do it in double quick time, thankfully it did. I felt it suitable, something different, but would show what he felt inside I thought.

I laid it out in Photoshop just adding the sentiment within the frame then printed it out and added it to the card with a couple of blings.  As it happened as I was walking into work, he was walking out and I was able to give him the card, I really was glad I had it on hand.

The Quick page is from Pixel Scrapper November blog hop.

  6. I'm sure your coworker loved the card. Even if he can't say so. Who cannot like knowing that someone is thinking of them!
