It's time for a new challenge at

 Digitally Sweet Challenges

the theme is

What's your favourite shape

I used Stitchy Bear Country Hearts digi and coloured it in Photoshop. I have been playing and trying to understand Photoshop recently and seeing what results I get with blending options. On this layout I have used -  Screen, Multiply, Pattern overlay, Drop Shadow, Bevel and Emboss and Dodge and Burn. It really is amazing what these combinations make. I also used the Pen tool for the text, something I really have to work at to understand it more.
Here is the card printed and layered. It would be lovely if my printer would print as bright as my screen, although it looks lovely on real life. I used coloured card to mount it on, something of a rarity for me.

  1. This is fabulous Faith! I love the patterns you chose for your hearts!! I so agree about printers, I design something that looks so spectacular on my screen and then I print it and I'm always disappointed!! What a croc! hugs and smiles :)

  2. Looks great Faith, lovely effects. I still haven't made any progress with Photoshop. I know it's a shame but I never seem to find time to sit down and experiment !!

  3. This is gorgeous. I too get disappointed when I print creations - thought it was just me it happened to! Also my printer suddenly decides to put lines through - which I can't see until I blog them.
