It's time for a new challenge at

 Digitally Sweet Challenges

the Theme is

Christmas -
using non traditional colours

sponsored by  Lunagirl

Hi Everyone, my offering today is something that I would not normally do, however this is a challenge right? and in the end I am quite happy I had this challenge to do, as it made me think of the true meaning of Christmas and it doesn't matter what colour is traditional as long as the message gets across. So here is my offering, I used a few blending options, brushes and layers and effects in PS to get the effect near enough to what I envisaged. (I really have a lot of learning to do in PS).

  13. I happen to love angels right along with my cardinals. And this is a spectacular one. I love the Old World look of this pretty being...and the colors just glow. I'm always happy to see cards that truly reflect what we 'should be' celebrating, but I think too often, our world forgets. We get caught up in the material part of the holiday, with frustration, stress & buy fever. This reminds us to stop, be thankful for the Miracle Gift and it adds some loveliness to the day. Wonderful card. Merry Christmas, TFS & Big hugs

  15. Oh My Word, Faith, this is amazing!! Utterly beautiful!

    (When you commented on a post of mine you asked if Karen's Doodles is back - as far as I know she isn't producing new digis at the moment, which is sad, but she has agreed to sponsor the CRAFT Challenge. Hopefully she'll soon be back creating again!)
