DSC # 95 "Day at the Beach"

A day at the beach to me is always Ice Cream as, we always have an ice cream on a visit to the seaside.  When we were asked to choose which digi we wanted to show, I HAD to choose, Eleanor & Pickles Double Scoop, the lick of her lips is just what I do LOL.


As usual this is coloured in Photoshop, I added a chalk edge and used blending mode to blur the edges of the background. Added shadows, and made the huts with PS shapes.

This is the card printed with Eleanor & Pickles Double Scoop, the sunshade and the sentiment 3D layered. (I decided, when printing to add a new layer for the sentiment and place it off the edge.)


I used this selection of colours from Color Q for my card.
The background is by Booland Designs from a digi kit, "Beach collaboration".

    Oooh great digi work here Faith, such a great card too. We always have an ice cream at the beach too.Keep on with the 5.2, it's a great WOE I think. I am up and down too now but sticking with it still :) Viv xx

    Love it! I can just picture you at the beach, slurping that ice cream so it doesn't drip! This cutie is enjoying her day at the beach, and her cool treat too. Love this coloring and am in awe of your skill in doing such with P.S. I'm seeing others doing 'digital coloring' and it is so pretty. Love the way you've placed the sentiment too. A real fun card!
