Hi Everyone
It's time for a new challenge at
Digitally Sweet Challenges
the Theme is
Anything with Wings
sponsored by Lacey Sunshine
The fabulous image I chose as my DT choice for this challenge, is Willow's butterfly friend. I have been quite bright in my choices of cards of late, so decided to cool it right down with this combination of colours by Design Seeds.
on the screen and also why does the camera do it's choice of colour sometimes too? Here is the digi option and the hybrid option. The background butterfly paper is by Pink Petticoat, the butterfly dies are Tonic dies. The stitching is digi by Atomic Cupcake and the tiny butterflies are PS shapes, coloured with the colours on the swatch and then a PS "pattern" added to them.
AND then I decided to do another in different colours, make your choice :) this time I used these brighter colours (I couldn't stay away from those bright colours) and used Tonic Butterflies & Blooms Die. Yes I know it's unusual to have 2 DT cards, but I loved the image and she looks so good in either colour, at least I think so. NOW if I can get her facial colour to print out what I see on screen I'll be laughing LOL. Oh! yes the DP is Blue Hydrangea by Audrey Jean Roberts, I also drew some swirls in PS and copied the shape to my Cricut and it's cutting program, printed out the sentiment that I had sized to the shape, I'm quite pleased with this too and it can be used over and over wherever I use some scrolls. I've added the shape to the bottom of the post so if you want to copy and cut it yourself, you are welcome too.
Hope you can enter this fun challenge and give us your take on "something with wings".
Here's the shape.
I'd love it if you would give me credit for this |

Beautiful cards!!
ReplyDeleteLovely Faith - such a cute image.
ReplyDeleteGreat image and gorgeous colours. x
ReplyDeleteI like this both ways, Faith! I have trouble deciding between pastels and brights! And I agree about the printers and cameras seeing colors differently. The first printer I ever had was the best at printing what the screen showed. Oh, the good old days!
ReplyDeleteOh wow Faith, they are all gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHey Faith, I just think they are all so lovely! Love the way the skin is colored!
