A VERY quick post as I should have done this earlier this week, however I have used my time up on a "Live" Photoshop tutorial on CREATIVElive, something I had never heard of, before reading it on someones forum and now I can't remember who suggested it, but my oh! my did I learn a few things, fascinating! I hope to share a few things when I have deciphered my writing LOL.
Onto my card. It is from the February Greetings Challenge by Paper Garden Products. The template is from here the papers are from a few kits by PGP and the daffodils are a digi stamp in the SpringBlooms2 kit. HERE which also includes other Spring flowers. No1 SpringBlooms are lovely too. The template is so easy I shall be using more of it me thinks. I coloured the digis stamp in PS, the sentiment is also from PGP.
I nearly forgot
Happy St Davids Day,
which is quite apt seeing as my card has the national flower of Wales.

ReplyDeleteHello Faith, and nice to meet you (I''m on the wrong side of 65 too! but that's ok!) Love this very soft & springlike card, and if you're in that part of the UK where there has been so much rain, I see why you chose this palette & the patterns. It made up such a beautiful card. I am intrigued at your Photoshop tutorial, as I use Photoshop, and learn on the fly. I'd love a good tutorial! Just joined as your newest follower, and hope you may find time to pay a visit in my part of Blogland USA. I have a lot of UK folks I chat with! TFS & playing in Jo's FFC 39, so I could have a chance to enjoy your lovely work. Happy wkend.
ReplyDeleteI love daffodils so I'm bound to like this lovely card. A bright, spring like morning here in South Yorkshire but VERY cold !!

Such a bright and cheerful card Faith - so pretty, and a reminder that spring is just around the corner :D Gill x
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love daffodils and have a bunch of different kinds in my yard. I always plant them instead of tulips because the deer eat the tulips but leave daffodils alone.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card! And boy, could we use some sunshine here today instead of gray skies & snow! This card just makes me think spring can't be far away. Thanks so much for joining us at QKR Stampede!

ReplyDeleteHappy St Davids Day to you too and thank you for my birthday wishes, I had a lovely day and I hope you did too.
Your card is beautiful, as you can probably guess, daffodils are my favourite flower as they are always associated with March 1st. They are such a cheery flower too :)
Best wishes, Jo x
