Hi Everyone, hope you are all enjoying your weekend.
Mine has pain, from a bad bout of sciatica ugh! I went to a physio drop in centre at the local hospital and they gave me exercises to do 3 of them, 15 times 3 times a day, painful, but hope it will work as I can't sit much, then have to walk, then lay down, just not too much of each, so enjoying my little sit here at the moment.
I see there are a few challenges on the winter theme so thought I would make a winter theme birthday card and here it is. I used Cold Kaylee by Some Odd Girls, the background paper is by Pixelberrypie, I used a Digi Paper freebie "paisley fabric" by Janet Scott Designs. I layered Kaylee then embossed the corner of the background with the Cuttlebug Lace tree, before adding Kaylee. I just added a few words for the sentiment.
I'll enter the following challenges

ReplyDeleteFaith, I think your card is really cute. I love your coloring, but the sentiment you came up with is my favorite part! What a great way to stretch the use of winter type images once Christmas has passed!

Another lovely card Faith. Love the cute image and sentiment. Hope your sciatica is improving. I've got the dentist today as I broke a tooth last week so not a good start to the new year for either of us.
ReplyDeleteLovely card. Thanks for joining us at Polka Doodles.

ReplyDeleteHi Faith! Thank you for the link to your adorable card--I LOVE to see how you use my resources. Card-making is both a piece of art, and a piece of the creator's heart.
