Jigsaw
I have been asked by one of the boys in work, to make an anniversary card for his wife, he always wants "sloppy" cards, she is a lovely person. I always try and do something different to what I normally do. I have used a beautiful image I have had for donkeys years, sorry don't know where from. I have never used it, but felt it right for this card, the jigsaw cutting file is available HERE The rest of the card was done in PS. I used DecoArt Glamour Dust to give a sparkle, shame it doesn't show in the piccie.. The font is filofax girls. the inside says - "that makes me complete"
While making it PS stopped playing! to say I panicked is an understatement, thankfully, Son came to the rescue, he has IT skills, but, had to play for about 4 hours on it even reloading a couple of times. It turned out after me trying to save changes I made when PS was up and working, that something was amiss with all the file I was working on, so had to exit without saving. It seems to want to play nicely with everything else, 'puters ay? If something had gone altogether, I think you would have heard me screaming from here! Thankfully it was only PS affected.
Anyhow here's the card.
I will enter the following challenges
http://onestitchatatimechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ Summer Dresses - I think this is a Summer dress
http://robynsfetishchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/ No flowers anywhere at all - Nope no flowers
http://sentimentalsundays.blogspot.co.uk/ Cute and Girly - not sure about the cute, but it is girly!
http://2sisterschallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/ Anything Goes - Yep!

Something Shiny
I'll have to be quick to catch Less is More challenge for this week, but I have 2 to enter, all or nuffin ay?
First is a 50th birthday card, I didn't know what to do until I saw the request for something shiny from Chrissie and Mandi and thought at least I can start with that. So here it is, with a scroll and flower cut file by one of 2 people, I'm sorry unless someone can enlighten me, I have saved it in 2 places DUH!, Sorry girls. (I'll update when I know who AND correct it in my files) and the background swirl is by Krewella Kreations (EDITED24/6/12 - both files are by Krewella Kreations) which I have used my Swiss dots by Cuttlebug. All cut on my Cricut.
The second is a gift card that I had a template off Here. I made a cut file on Fairycuts for it, so it turned out quite easy, as I would have to have used scissors to cut the centre and I know it wouldn't have been so neat. I have shown the inside too, all printing was done in PS.
As I said Quick! just about make it I hope :)

Toilet humour?
I saw this challenge and thought - I have too, especially after my recent card HERE . By now you will know I have a strange sense of humour! Sorry blame my 4 brothers and my husband LOL.
Anyhow, I digress! All done in PS, I used DP by Digital Diva Designs, the toilet is a freebie for the challenge at Dude Time Challenge. The sentiment is by Marlene at Squigglefly I added a punched out heart in the "thinking speech bubble"
I did a woman's toilet humour first off, because I didn't read the challenge rules properly! I have added it below.

Fathers Day
A quick post, I've been absent of late, due to mojo gone walkabout! .
I did this card for a friend who's husband is a rugby fanatic and whose team is The Ospreys from Swansea. I didn't know what to do, so as their logo is the bird mask, so to speak, I copied it from the web and made a file to cut it out, which I then made a strip of, I also made the background paper in PS of the mask and the footballer. The man came from the web as well as did the Osprey rugby ball along the centre. I cut the circle with my Cricut, also the black pinking sheer circle, also cut the No 1 Daddy, I did the text in PS. I'm glad to say she and her 2 little daughters were thrilled with it., Just hope he is, on Sunday.
I shall enter this into the following challenges

Graduation
Less is More is asking for
ONE LAYER CARD
time once more.
The challenge this week is to
USE A FLOURISH
Now you know I am not a stamper, but that doesn't stop me entering into the spirit of Less is More. I looked at all my files for "flourishes" but none of them did anything for me, then I got to thinking what would I use it for, so went through my PS brushes and came up with Graduation by Obsidian Dawn.
Of course that's what I'll do it for, so tried a few brushes, but they left me cold too, then I added the tassel and voila a card was born LOL. I thought the tassel looked like a flourish I had tried earlier, so added it and kept everything in black, printed it out and then added Glamour Dust to give it a shine. Hope it meets the "flourish" LOL. The font I used is Smitten Kitten. It sounds such a quick card and would have been if I had thought it through first, as it was I was 2 hours or maybe more searching trying and deleting before I came up with it, Oh!well.
I shall be entering the following challenges

You are in my thoughts!
I thought I had better explain the card in my title before you saw it!
This is for a friend of mine, who is in a bad state at the moment, menopause and all that! She absolutely loves bright and cheerful, so I thought this fun (I think) image and sentiment would hopefully give her a smile at least, she knows my quirky/sick sense of humour and would expect something like this from me. I hope LOL
I used Incontinence Irene from Squigglefly and the sentiment that goes with it. I paper pieced her dress in PS from digi papers by Mommyish at Digichick, lovely bright and cheerful, then used some matching papers from the rest of the bundle for the rest. I coloured her in PS and used burn and dodge tools to shade. Added Stickles and a lovely ribbon from Fantastic Ribbons.
The sketch I followed is LOTV 26th June, I presume from last year.
I shall be entering the following challenges

Red White and Blue
A red white and blue colours are requested this week at Less is More, so here is my contribution, last week was a shaped card, I was a day or two early with my apron card, so started making a different card and never finished it, oh! well.
My card has a sentiment EDITED that I thought was TLC Vintage. (Sorry don't know who it's by if anyone can enlighten me I would give credit where it's due.) I have added extra "butterflies and a gradient in PS for the r,w and b border, I added "because", then printed it out onto the card and printed it again on Cuddly Buddly eggshell paper for a better gloss, added Stickles to the "butterflies", cut an extra one out and 3D'd it to the left corner. I added some r,w and b bling, and penned in a trail for the added butterfly.
I shall be entering the LIM challenge RED WHITE AND BLUE
A few photos of a Woodpecker that has graced us with his presence in the garden, I have to admit I had never seen one before and had to Google to find out what bird it was. I didn't think we had such bright birds in this country, shows how much I know about birds besides sparrows, starlings, blackbirds the common birds in most gardens. The photos were taken inside the kitchen through the conservatory, that is why there is a light streak on them, it is reflecting the window frame.

New Home Card
Hi to you ALL
Firstly thank you for being my followers, I appreciate it very much, it gives me encouragement to carry on knowing that at least someone looks and likes what I do.
What miserable weather for Her Majesty's 60th Jubilee, I don't think it dampened peoples enthusiasm much though, especially in London, we watched it all on TV, couldn't go outside, it was as bad if not worse than London :( Tonight the flags outside the house are switching our security light on and off, so hubby is going to have remove or do something with them to stop it. It's a terrible night with the wind and rain, we have even had to put the central heating on for a while, such a shame after such a beautiful weekend last week. Never mind, hope it will be better for her and us tomorrow.
Now onto one of my recent makes, a VERY quick card. All done in PS. The house is in a package by Summertime Designs, I added the grass which is also in the pack, printed it out added a button voila! made and posted in 30 minutes.
Along comes another!
I have had this bride image for a number of years and have never used it, a wedding of one of the girls in work and I made this for her.
The ring frame is by Krewella Kreations the flowers are by Hobbycraft are matching her bouquet and the background paper is a digi from Sherwood Designs, this took a little longer than the top card, as the image kept printing out too dark so I had to play with it in PS to make it suitable. Even in this piccie she looks too dark, but in real life she looks lovely, thankfully.
