50th birthday genaelogist card

I do have some difficult requests, this time I was asked to put a woman with a torch going through a graveyard, for a 50th birthday work colleague who has spent years tracing her family.

Well I searched and searched for a figure with a torch! in the end, I used Mo Manning's Checking FB, coloured in PS, which I thought is "searching" then went looking for headstones! found one at Birds Cards.com and another place but I didn't save where, AGAIN! sorry. I even made the one with the cross, with PS brushes and shapes,.  The tree, flowers and clouds background are from Trina Clark's Bumble Bears, I thought this lightened the whole thing, instead of making it a dark or Gothic subject.

What do I put on the headstones? then thought of the genealogy and came up with the sayings which I put on them.  I thought that putting the digi in the background would look odd, so added it as though she was thinking of the background, I hope that makes sense.  I 3D'd the headstones and the top of the tree, Stickled the 50 in gold and added Checking FB in a frame outlined with Atomic Cupcake's chalk Action in PS.

I think that's all of it.  I love getting elements together to make a picture and I am very pleased with this one.  I think she will be too.  Sorry the picture isn't too focussed of the close up, but had to repair an out of focus close up.  I photographed them in a rush and should have taken more time.

Oh yes the inside says -

....When your Family Tree started, so show all those ancestors what a 50th birthday is like in 2012 and have a GREAT one!
