I have had an awful day crafting, I made some shopping bags with T shirt transfer paper, I was so thrilled I took them into work and was asked to do another 20! WEll, I ironed for three and half hours on these bl..dy bags and have some that have worked well, 2 I had to throw out, the rest will have to see if they accept them. I am sooooooooooooooo disappointed as everyone thought my designs great. I could cry as I had invested money in my new little venture! We in Wales have to pay 5pence for a plastic carrier bag if we have one from a shop, so everyone is using recyleable or "proper" shopping bags, this was going to be a little thing I could do when I retire to keep me busy and make a little extra to suppliment my pension. Failure is something I don't do well, so will have to think of something else to do with the bags I bought.
One of the things I have done is this card, the criteria was black and white and classy and was for a husband and wife, hope it meets its needs. It had to go into the post so I didn't add to much weight or height. I used an image from TLC Vintage I coloured their skin in PS and the digi papers, which I paper pieced in PS, are from Summertime Designs and Pink Petticoat. I used black card from Hobbycraft, which is only 170mg great for layering and not too heavy. I also printed the shaped black & white paper and the image on eggshell gloss paper from Cuddly Buddly, bling added was a present to me a couple of years ago so don't know where that came from and added 3D Gloss to the greeting. Hope you like it.
I made this first, felt there was something missing so addded a bow, which you can see in the photo below. |
In this photo you can see the shine from the eggshell paper and the shine from the 3D gloss I added to the greeting. |
