Well I can add either to cards, but as a CAS card, mmmmmm. so I went on to the web for ideas and saw a 2008 blog where the challenge was to do anything with a ribbon but NOT a bow, well that had me going, I had a slider function on my Cricut with the cartridge Straight from the Nest, it had an oval, so I thought a ribbon threaded great! thinking of the other challenge "outside the box" I thought of Mandi saying "I have a few crafting pet hates! Two of them are ribbon stuck onto a card and trimmed at the edges or the ends trimmed with scissors that aren't sharp!" Well I had to do FRAYING. It may wind Mandi up as it's not sharp edge, (I'm in that sort of mood this week LOL). Next was a button, I don't have that many and they are more for baby cards.
Then, I found a an icecream cone button I have had for I don't know how long, then remembered I had bought some ribbon to match it, so many years ago, search for that. Match the ribbon colour for the slider, cut the slider out of Papermania card, (great stuff) now what card, square or oblong? well I tried both and decided after a lot of trying different ways, I like the oblong. On to PS printed a matching colour text and here is my card.
