Hi Everyone my DT make today is for
This month, we would love to see your cards with the theme chosen by Anesha.
I
firstly stamped the pins, I was going to write the Happy onto the pins,
but I'm a bit shaky of late, so decided to see if my Silhouette could
cut, out of card, 5mm x 7mm letters. It did, incredible really, I'm
always impressed how good it is. I added them to the pins.
Next
I die cut the circle for them and die cut a paper from a pad for
the larger circle, with the same colours, that I had decided on.
For the background I stamped the ball over the card and die cut it to fit the base card, it was added to it.
Next
the circles were glued together, and edged with the ball layer. The
pins were added, one sideways, as if it was hit by the ball. I then
added a die cut orange piece of card and stamped the birthday on it.
Adding the ball.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely fabulous card, Faith! Perfect interpretation of the sports theme.
ReplyDeleteGreat card for the WLS theme.
ReplyDeleteUsed to love going Ten Pin Bowling but, like Brenda above, can’t remember the last time I did it - despite having a bowling alley locally! Not sure my shoulders would like it very much these days! xxx
I am trying to think what I would have done if I was still on the DT as sports really aren't my thing. I suppose it would have been hobbies. Maybe gardening or even cardmaking! You did well with this one excellent idea and beautifully executed xx
ReplyDeleteGreat design, fabulous card.
ReplyDeleteYou have such great ideas Faith, it’s brilliant xx
ReplyDeleteAdorable card using the sketch, Faith. Love the bright and fun colours you've used. Your silhouette is amazing with detail cuts ... those letters are so small. xx
ReplyDeleteOh this is so very clever and knocks that sketch out of the ballpark! Strike! 💕Sue Kment
ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea for this fun card. x
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant card, a really super design x
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun card, Faith and it would have been perfect for my eldest son who, in his early teens, always asked for a bowling birthday outing. You cased the sketch beautifully, and are a whizz with the Silhouette.
ReplyDeleteHope you are well,
Hugs,
Carol x
What a great bowling birthday card! Very creative with the bowling pins and love the colors! I used to bowl in a league and miss it. I plan to go for fun some time when my hip gets stronger. Great card, well done, Faith!!
