Hearts
February is the time of professing our love, but this year, I am dealing with a Sympathy card, because I saw the beautiful words on the stamp and had to use it and maybe it's the mood I'm in!
I started with looking for stamps with hearts and found a few. I then went searching for a sentiment, but as it happens I found this, thought it lovely, so went with it. In case you can't read it, it says,
"Wrapping you in Love
at a time when words fall short."
Aren't they lovely?
I stamped the heart then the sentiment, next I coloured the heart simply. It looked a little plain, so I embossed the top and bottom of the card. Definitely a CAS card. The card actually went to a lady whose hubby is very ill.

ReplyDeleteWell, I think it's cool when we use stamps in ways not obviously intended. I did one of those this week with a sympathy stamp used on a retirement card. Love the embossing at top and bottom of yours and that heart and sentiment are perfect. Hope you are staying cozy and warm and not too much rain! xox
