CAS TMR

My DT card today is for

I've had no mojo, so have been looking at some of my old cards for inspiration. This is from 2010, before I was blogging! The image I've used is very old, but I found it in my files with no identification. The sentiment is the same. I print and cut both with 3 layers each in Silhouette, then I coloured them with DI's.

Next, I embossed a card cut to size, with a music embossing folder, although you can hardly see it. It was attached to the base card, adding the image and sentiment onto the music.

images - unnamed
inks - Distress Inks, salty ocean, squeezed lemonade, abandoned coral
embossing folder - Die sire, Embossalicious, Seasonal Music
Silhouette

  1. I'm sure everyone understands why your mojo has gone Faith, but the card is great. I have male family who don't have hobbies such as fishing, sport etc so this would be ideal. WakeyL

  2. The 'no mojo' thing is definitely understandable. But one would never know it because your card is amazing! I love it!

  4. I think this is great and I love the way you can go to your files and find something. The embossed background is perfect for the image and adds interest without affecting the CAS nature of the card. Very well done xx

  10. It certainly is ok not to have any mojo at times. How awesome, though, that you were able to create and access your files for your fun musical card! I love it! I'm thinking it would be a perfect one for my son since he plays the piano. Thanks so much for the inspiration! Great card, Faith!! Take care, hugs!!

  14. As in your last card posted, the subtle textured background is always a good ingredient. It's a very cute and graphically pleasing design, makes perfect sense to replicate it. I'm glad you are creating even though it's a struggle. Nothing ever stays the same so it may help see you through to a brighter time. Hugz, xoxo

  17. What a great idea to look through old cards for inspiration when mojo is absent. You came up trumps with this idea, Faith, and I love the embossed background for the happy pianist. I'm learning piano for the first time in my seventies, and it is a very slow process!
    Sending love and hugs,
    Caol x
