Apologies due to inconvenient circumstances

Hi Everyone, I won't be around much for a few weeks. I was diagnosed with a DVT last weekend, luckily (it seems) it's in my calf, BUT it's still extremely painful, which means I cannot sit too long without my leg up, which in my craft room is impossible. SO I shall be doings things, but much less than I have been, at least until I have finished the medical requirements I have been told to do.

I'll try and use my tablet, but it's a touchy thing and works when it likes! it's not old either.

I hope normal service will be resumed as soon as possible. Luckily I have a few scheduled posts, so there should be something to see occasionally.

I've never thought of myself as old, but it came as a shock when this happened! I know it can happen at any age, BUT! I don't like it 😕

Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with likeminded people.

I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.

This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

Hi Everyone, my card today is for the Limited Runs FB challenge and the Outlawz sketch challenge. I did something I have seen done, but never done myself. Will I do it again? mmmmmm not sure, it was fiddly to say the least, perhaps it was the design and the size of it. Perhaps better in paper or card for this project.

A Great subject - YES!

My card is of course 007! the film is Casino Royale, everything was put together in Photoshop and then printed and fussy cut. I've used the image a few times and it's always appreciated, so I hope this will be too. The Team have got GREAT cards and inspiration, I hope to see you in our challenge.

The card is going to my GNephew, who has just passed his driving test (Licenced to celebrate?) and has done extremely well in his apprenticeship exams. Lots of reason to celebrate.

A Greeting

Hi Everyone, today my card is for the Outlawz sketch challenge. One I like to participate in as it's always a challenge to use the sketches.

This time I used a sentiment instead of an image, quite a change for me. I stamped it in black, but it was too stark, so stamped it with the aid of my stamping platform a few times in pink on top of the black, I think it worked?

Hi Everyone, my DT post for

"Little boys"? with so many men in the family, I consider ALL of them to be little boys at heart, hence this will go to one, for a gift I have in mind. I didn't know what to do and didn't feel enough mojo to make a card, BUT, to play with the Cameo? oh! YES! I went looking for a "toy" and found this wonderful tractor for "free". I cut it out on the Cameo and hubby and son LOVED it and had a laugh "like little boys". It's a gift box and it will hold without effort 3 mini Mars bars. It will take 2 larger bars even though I have made it slightly smaller to fit the card I used. I hope you like it too. I just HAD to take the piccies on the lawn.
