Hi Everyone, today I thought I would let you see what I am giving the few children we have to our door on Halloween, I cut the coffin shape on my Cameo with a file from Birds Cards so easy and quick. I added a ghosty pumpkin image from Elizabeth Dulemba a kind ghost I thought. I filled them with Halloween sweets. Now I hope I have enough LOL.

Reindeer Food
Hi Everyone, here are the Reindeer Food packs I have done this year. A friend asked me to make a few for her Grandchildren, then a visitor saw them and took 3 (for her grandchildren) of my original order, so back to making more.
I saw this template HERE for the reindeer head, I took it into PS and made a png file to use on the Cameo, I think I will adapt it, so that the ears are made into holes and will show the antler layer through the holes, much easier than adding the tiny ear pieces. Anything for an easier life LOL.
The baglet idea is from HERE I didn't have vellum bags so I used my small card poly bags, which meant I had to redesign the bag to fit the bags. I liked the bottom of the design so added a similar border, sorry can't find it to identify it. When untied the bag can be opened without tearing it open, as I put the sticky opening of the bag to the front. The sentiment was from the Web, I usually use a shorter one, but thought that the person I was making them for would appreciate the verse. I LOVE that when finished the actually stand on their own.

Floral circle
Hi Everyone, you may have thought I had forgotten you the last few days, however I have been quite busy, with Halloween gifts for the children. Reindeer food, and family birthday cards. I'll be posting them asap.
Anyhow my post today is a hybrid as usual, I have coloured and laid it out in PS and printed then cut on the Cameo, layered and lace added, I followed the Outlawz Sketch challenge.

Mushroom
Hi Everyone, a cute mushroom for you today. My SIL was visiting a few weeks ago and when she does, as PS users we give each other tips on how to do things in it, we use it in different ways, even though we both make cards and other things!
Anyhow, I was teaching her how I colour in PS and did this mushroom, her birthday was coming up so what better image to use than the one we both worked on. I did a print and cut of the image on the Cameo, I added wire to the ladybird's antennae and 3D gloss to the eyes. I've added a digi view of the inside too. A fun verse for her, so she could have a laugh at it. The front sentiment I'm sure I have seen somewhere, but as I have a "fun guy" I thought to add it.

Jotter Pad
Hi Everyone and another new follower, thank you for being here with me.
This is the jotter pad, for my long time friend, I promised to show you yesterday, I wanted something more than the usual put the paper on top of the pad etc and found what I was looking for at Jenny's blog. I have added gold peel offs to the black edge and her initials on the die cut inside, something I haven't used for "yonks! The card the papers are glued to, is card which I cannot even bend, it came supporting a Docrafts pack of cards. Glad I only had to do straight line cutting as even my big guillotine struggled a bit, but it was perfect for the outside. Here is my result of Jenny's tutorial. Isn't it strange how photos change reds?
The papers were freebies from a magazine.
Button off an old time coat or skirt?
Black card Papermania.
Spellbinder die
gel pen from a pack of four in Tesco.

T Shirt Corset lady
Hi Everyone, thought I would pop in and show you the T shirt I made for my long time friend, I coloured and printed the Corset lady from Create with TLC I tried to match the colour of this card for my friend, (which I coloured with Spectrum Noir pens) I added a PS mask to shape and blur the outside of the floral paper, then printed it on transfer paper to iron onto the T shirt. I'm happy to say she liked it and had a good laugh, she IS going to wear it, on the proper occasions of course LOL.
Tomorrow I will share the Jotter I also made for her.

Halloween card
Hi Everyone, I have kept saying I don't do Halloween cards, but Some Odd Girls were offering this image as a freebie, well I'm a sucker for freebies, but I also loved it and HAD to make something with her. She cries out Halloween and Charles Dickens's, Miss Haversham.
I coloured her in Spectrum Noir markers and used DP's to add to the unusual colours for the challenge. Unusual, as I think the usual colours are orange black and green.
I found the sentiment on the web and used the font "A Charming Font" for it. I printed the DP's out, added them to the card, 3D'd Wraith-Mae, after fussy cutting her out, then to make her more like Miss Haversham I added pieces of netting to her skirt with silver Stickles to add a little sparkle and Docraft's Pearl Effects in the corners of the tree layer. Shame the sparkle doesn't show on her skirt so much, but you can just about make them out on her dress shoulders.

Autumn Blessings
Hi Everyone, a second post today because I entered a card into a new challenge to me and was reminded it wasn't the correct image for the blog, I usually read the rules to make sure I comply, but didn't in this instance duh! The challenge ends today at midnight so felt I had to do the second post because it's a digi image challenge.
They had a free image and paper to play with, so a quick card from me to enter. I did a "chalk" edge to the DP and used a DP overlay of leaves, to which I added texture and a gradient to bring more of the Autumn into it. Printed it out, added twine and then the sentiment. I hope I comply this time LOL.

Christmas card
Hi Everyone, I'm following the Art by Miran Progressive Challenge and the image for this month is Eirwen, which I love, especially as I recognise this name as a Welsh one :). I am still a VERY new hand colourer and I have used SN's on this.
After I had coloured her I wasn't that happy with the fur effect, so thought I would see how others did their fur colouring and came across this beautiful card I added more colouring, however, I am still struggling with folds etc, but I thought not too bad to add to a card. I cut her out with an oval die and the patterned die, printed 3 border images, from PS, on another piece of card to add behind and then added a debossed pattern, which I thought matched the die to the edge of the card.

Gratitude
Hi Everyone, a card I made just because I wanted to use the image.
I had this beautiful girl as a freebie from the A Day For Daisies blog. I didn't know what to do with her, I thought she needed a natural background, then realised I had taken a landscape playing field photo last week, which would do if I altered it! I added it into Photoshop added a blending mode and colour overlay and there was my background, I think it looks quite good and so very different?
I coloured her in PS, however when I printed it out, her skin was so pale, it didn't look like I had coloured her, (tip - stay with colours you know for skin!) so I took my Spectrum Noirs and coloured her skin. I have a lot to learn with them, but I hope I haven't spoilt the whole result. I layered the image on black then a punched yellow layer added some gold bling - voila! The inside was done to match and I added the sentiment "and I Thank You with all my heart", I wish you could see how it glitters.

It's Pumpkin Time!
Hi Everyone, a card with an image supplied by Gerda Steiner Designs on the Outlawz Progressive Challenges, isn't this the most adorable image, I had a lot of fun colouring him. I designed and coloured it in PS. I have been learning more detailed colouring in PS and I think I understand a bit more, which in fact now helps me with my alcohol markers colouring, strange as it sounds.
In fact when I printed it out, the skin colour was practically white, I still haven't found my favourite colours in PS, drat! anyhow. I coloured the face with SN's. and followed this sketch. I printed out the DP's and cut them with my square dies, I made a png file in PS to make a cut file for my Cameo of the silhouette pumpkin. The dark paper has been made using an overlay in PS.

Door Home
Hi Everyone, a Deedee's DT card for the Crafter's Cafe challenge the theme is black/orange/purple and didn't have to be a Halloween, so thought that's good, as I don't send Halloween cards, except to one of our neighbours who makes a big thing of it with their children, and I have already done one for them
I digress - my card was decided about when I saw that one of the Team had used an image I hadn't seen before, (the wreath) so I thought I would use it and join it with one that I have used a few times, (the flower pot) so handy when you have ready coloured and outline images, to enable colouring any colour you want in the kits Deedee draws. I'm rambling today LOL.
Anyhow, I used a cut file of a door, and a die cut of leaves, then used print and cut on the Cameo for the wreath and fussy cut the flower pots, (I forgot to print from the Cameo duh!) I used a wall embossing folder for the background. Oh! yes I coloured the images in PS, but coloured over them with my Spectrum Noirs to add more colour and shading. I have to say I am quite pleased with how the colours look together, quite different from Halloween.

Evening
Hi Everyone, a late post for today, but just uploaded some photos and thought I would share the sky we had a few days ago. I thought it an unusual sky, but, the sunset it ended with was just wonderful.
Hope you have had a fabulous day as we have had here. Blue blue skies, occasional puffy cotton ball clouds and the temperature at 15C with a slight breeze, an absolutely perfect day.

Hi Everyone, a little bear-thday card for you today, LOL sorry for the pun. I followed the Outlawz challenge sketch and used a little bear that was sent to me by a blog friend. Krewella Kreations, isn't he cute? A simple card for me. I coloured the bear in PS and used PS overlays to use colours that were required in the Scrapbook.com card challenge I cut all the pieces and layered or 3D'd onto the card.

World Card Making Day at Deedee's Digis
Hi Everyone, my DT post for today is reminding you about Deedee's Digis WCMD.
If you look at the tic tac toe recipe I have chosen line 6, this was the hardest for me and as it's a "challenge" I decided to go for it. I chose the fox from the Pumpkin Pals kit, and I've done it AGAIN, not looked at the kit and haven't used the perfect papers provided. Using them, would have saved me at least half an hour looking for papers to match - oh! dear when am I going to learn? I just saw foxy and that was it. I was so worked up with deciding to hand colour I didn't look any further, 'til I was ready to post.
I cut the centre papers out with my Tonic rectangle dies and the Scripture verse with a Tonic square die, I also embossed the dies.
The Scripture verse was one I thought suited me, as I intend not to give up on my colouring, but it also was apt for myself and a few bloggers of late, who are going through hard times, personally and family wide. This card is for you, may you have many blessings when your struggles are over.
Go over to Deedee's Digis and enter, the latest date is the 16th so you still have a chance to enter.
Anyhow here is my card and a view of the kit used.

Begonias & Sparrow Hawk
Hi Everyone, a few photos for you today, to give you a break from my cards LOL.
We have had a fabulous show from our large begonias this year, however while it was raining and blowing hard, one the the stems broke off, the flowers were too heavy to hold it. I brought the stem in and kept it in water. I measured one of the flowers and as you can see it was 5 inches ( or 120mm) we haven't had them grow this big before.

Safe and in water |
I'm blushing, because you have taken my photo! |
OK, so I need to get my mass index down! |
A change of subject
Sorry these are a bit blurred, I had to take them in a hurry and through the kitchen and conservatory windows. It was quite an event for the Crows and Magpies who were making such a noise we went to see what it was all about, it was this Sparrow Hawk after the pigeon.
It's mine go away! |
I'll hide under the shrub and they can't get at it. |
Well I feel better now and it's hidden for a return meal later ha! ha! ha! |

Now on to my card for today, it's a DT card for Deedee's Digis and the Allsorts Challenge that Deedee is sponsoring. The Theme is "no patterned paper / designed paper, That really started me thinking, as I love my DP's, Krewella Kreations was giving a cut file of a Pumpkin, how did she know I needed it? Thanks Krewella. I made the pumpkin into a card file with orange card and layered the leaves and stalk with green card. I dry embossed the pumpkin and the leaves with different embossing folders. I added thinking mouse, well it had to be him didn't it? The sentiment comes from the kit. I added 3D gloss to his eyes and tail and glitter to the leaves and stalk, you have to have a little glitter don't you?

Chocolate Heaven
Hi Everyone, I had a birthday card to make for one of my nieces, she like the rest of the family is a chocoholic, so what better than send her a card with chocolate on it? I designed the card in PS with DP's and printed it all out, then 3D'd the main image. I love the images outside and inside. Just 3 layers and easier to post!

Halloween card
Hi Everyone, my DT card today is for the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge where I had a choice of Autumn, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Bonfire, I chose Halloween, something I don't do every year. I have had lots of fun in Photoshop doing this, doing new things (for me) and lots of papers and blending options in PS, I know lots of you don't know what the heck I am talking about, but if you DO want to know, I'm here to help :)
I used a Bat background cutting file from Birds cards behind the one layer DP background and a Cameo cut and print 3D upside down Bat and tree from the Deedee digi kit. When I was putting this together the times I nearly stuck the bat the wrong way up, whoa! so very nearly! The sentiment is from the fabby kit too. Adding the kit promo here, I have just realised, I should have looked at the kit closer as there is a moon and bat in it, would have saved me looking for a moon - duh! I even placed the little bat, in near enough the same areas! I love the upside down bat, he's got a cute expression.

"Pick Your Pal" World Card Making Day Challenge!
World Card Making Day ("WCMD")!!! A day set aside worldwide to celebrate our craft. Naturally we couldn't let it pass us by without a special event to celebrate! So here's what we've got for you today: "Pick Your Pal" Tic-Tac-Toe!
As you can see, we've created a fun game board for you. (Click on it to enlarge it if you need to!) How do you play? Easy-peasy!
1. Choose a row on the Tic-Tac-Toe board, make a card using one of our digis that matches that row, share it on your blog or public gallery, and then link it up to our WCMD challenge post using the linky tool. No back-linking please. You must create a new card for this challenge.
2. Each numbered row on the Tic-Tac-Toe card coordinates to a "Pal" digi that you will receive as a prize for completing that row. There are a total of eight "Pal" digis that you can win, including four from our "Pumpkin Pals" set...
...and four from our brand new, not-yet-in-the-shop "Stocking Pals" set!
3. When you link up your card, please state which row number you followed to create it, and verify that your email address is 100% correct in the link-up so that Deedee can email you your prize!
4. You may participate multiple times to get multiple digis. Each entry must be linked separately, even if you include them in a single blog or gallery post.
5. If you complete the whole Tic-Tac-Toe card ("Blackout") via one card OR by completing three cards representing either all three vertical rows or all three horizontal rows, you will receive both full sets including the additional elements shown in the photos above!
6. In addition to the "Pal" digi prizes shown above, we will also have TWO additional prize drawings at the end of the challenge:
- One entrant will win a spot as our Guest Designer here on the blog for the month of November! Now, we know that some of you would not be interested in this, so to make sure that we're only drawing from those who are, please, if you are interested in entering this drawing, remember to put "GDT" next to your name in your link-up(s).
- We will draw for a number between "1" and "9" (eight numbered Tic-Tac-Toe rows plus the number "9" for "Blackout"). Everyone who entered a card for that number of row on the Tic-Tac-Toe card will win a $10 gift code to the shop!
7. DEADLINE: You have until Friday, 16 October, 2015 to complete this challenge. Drawing winners will be announced here on Saturday, 17 October, 2015.

Owls card.
Hi Everyone, a little late with my post, it's for World Card Making Day, but I scheduled another instead funnily also by TLC, so here is another post today. It's an Owl image given by Paulette at Create with TLC I think these are really strong owls and had to be for a masculine card, I decided to use Autumn colours, it's the phase I'm in LOL. I designed and coloured in PS, printed out, layered and added mini leaves from Papermania punches. (again), the sentiment jumped out of my mind while I was colouring the owls.

Acorn Fairy
The Acorn Fairy was a freebie from last week, the ready coloured print background (acorns and leaves) "Autumn Colours in Nature" was from last year. It was lovely to be able to combine the two images. I designed the card and coloured the fairy in PS, 3D'd the Fairy image, added lots of glitter, 3D gloss for the acorns in the image, I used Papermania punches for the leaves and coloured them with my Spectrum Noirs. I added the leaves to the left side of the card so that they would mix with the falling leaves on the paper.
This is one of those cards I am thrilled with, so much so, I have put it into a box frame for my craft room, especially for the Autumn Season. The photo taken in the evening sun, even has an Autumn cast to it. The framed photo was taken in a North room so in a way the colour is more realistic.
