Old Car QKR

Hi Everyone here I am with my DT card for today

This is for the challenge at QKR. Our challenge is on the 1st and 15th of every month, so you have 2 chances every month to enter the challenge.

We will select two winners each of the weeks
1 using QKR Stampede  or Eureka Stamps image
 and 1 using any image!

Anything Goes every 1st & 15th of the month

I have this lovely image of an old car today. I decided to use for my brother's 86th birthday. Well he is vintage!  Firstly I took the digital stamp into my die cutting machine and cut the car out, the car was then coloured with Distress inks and layered onto the offset layer, I also cut out. The gears and sentiment were both then cut in different card colours. All layered onto the paper with the ribbon dp. I love the colour mix here, something that just popped out for me to use, I thought it something different in a masculine card. He actually commented, that he liked the colours!

old car - QKR Stampede
dp & gears & ribbon - Jessica Dunn Digital Scrapbooking (Pixelscrapper)
birthday sentiment - Lori Whitlock
inks - Distress Inks
purple card - Dovecraft
white/silver Centura card - Crafters Companion
Silhouette Cameo

Awesome card, Faith! Just discovered today that I haven't been getting posts from a couple people I'm following on Follow It. Seems my Follow It account has become inactive and I don't know why. So I have sent them a message. Since I haven't been getting your posts, I wanted you to know that I haven't given up on you. It'll be interesting to see what they say about making my account inactive. Irritates the crap out of me! I'm so sorry!

You are blessed to have had a brother for so many years who's celebrating his 86th birthday! AMAZING! What a fantastic card to make for him too. I love all the gears with that old car, but the circular birthday sentiment just rocks! Congrats to your brother and to you as well for both being blessed with such a good long life!

A brilliant card Faith, I love the colours. Am now in sunny Fuerteventura, so glad the storm hadn’t arrived before we flew although we had a strong wind behind us which meant we arrived early. Take care xx

Wow Faith, this is an awesome masculine card! I am really loving the color combo too. The car....I thought it must have been a pre-colored die cut, but then read you colored it with distress inks. Wow, it is very impressive! I love that striped paper you used and that bottom pinkish paper. The sentiment is a cool circle sentiment and I love the added gears. I can see why brother loved this card and the color combo, it is really fab! Hugs, Brenda
