Feedburner

Hi Everyone, I have been looking with Shirley Young to find an alternative to Feedburner. Shirley found one first that she and I will be using from https://follow.it/ni I shall be changing in the next day or so. I wanted to warn you first, as I have over 1300 subscribers and looking at them most are scam subscribers. (I presume) as they have the same few letters or words at the beginning of their emails. I am only going to add the people whose emails I know, or look genuine, this could mean I am missing you out on the email follower list. Apologies.

I would really like if you would continue to follow my blog by email. When I have changed over you will see a GREEN "Follow". As in Shirley's blog HERE.

It may be an alternative for you too?

I have made a couple of cards, but thought I would add this, before them, then change to the new feed email follower.

I hope this made sense?

Faith, Thanks for sharing this. I'm going to try it on my own blog if I can figure out what to do on each step. I do wish Google/Blogger would stop "upgrading" things! Mostly I find that their "improvements" just create a new batch of problems. Sigh...

Good luck with it Faith, I’m getting notifications from follow.it about new subscribers so I know the button is working. Will try to do a new blog post this week to see if subscribers actually get the email notifications xx

I was trying to get to grips with this the other day Fath, all seems like alot of hard work to me but like everyone its hard to lose anyone. Wish they made it easier, not very good at tech stuff, but thanks Faith, just have to see how it goes.x

I'm trying to get caught up on my commenting for the past couple days. Thanks so much for sharing the alternate link to Feedburner - I just signed up to follow your blog on the new one. I, too, wish Blogger would stop messing with stuff. That's why I switched over to WordPress for my personal blog four years ago. But I'm going to use the new one for all four of my challenge blogs - will tackle that this weekend.

Hi Faith, I'm afraid all of this is beyond me and I don't really think anyone follows me by email anyway. But thanks for this information, Kate x

Thanks, Faith! Did not know if there were alternatives. I will be doing this one for my followers at my own blog but probably not until June. I do hope everyone knows this is NOT an upgrade from Blogger, it's a Dear John. And gmail may be on their chopping block before too long. They are at the stage in their corporate development where they are shedding the free stuff they hooked us with in order to gain their size. They are making money elsewhere. Oh well, twas fun while it lasted. At any rate, I'm appreciative of you sharing with us a solution! XOX
