AWOL?

Hi Everyone, I'm sorry I have been AWOL, but with happenings here and with no inclination to make anything, I'm afraid my poor blog has been neglected this last few days. Except, of course, my respect to Prince Philip.

After seeing something that said, no mojo? get something out and sit there until you have made something with it. Well I did, however the 'puter was taking priority instead, YouTube etc. but nothing happened, then I saw a card with blue in it and I thought it's a colour I don't often go to as the main choice, so here is the result.

My recently bought stamp in use again, I do love this.

A simple card, with the image stamped, an oval placed over it and some distress ink shaded out from the oval.  I then was stuck, so looked through my stamps and came across the sentiment stamp and a little butterfly.  In the mood I was in, I decided to make a Thinking of You card, as that's all I was doing was thinking! I used the background layer which is a pearlised  paper to stamp it on, a few gems card done. btw, the blue sentiment paper is cut straight, but for some reason it doesn't look it? Me and my photography???

I also coloured  3 more of the stamp, but haven't done anything else with them, I'll blog them as soon as I have done something.

stamp - Flora Musica Chocolate Baroque
inks - Distress Inks
pearlised paper - Outlet store
embossing powder - Papermania
gems - stash

Faith that is gorgeous. Love the colors and can't wait to see your other versions. Don't beat yourself up if you have a "me" day and don't craft. You're an adult and can do what you want. Hugs.

It’s beautiful Faith, I do love that stamp. We must be on the same wavelength as I’ve been doing some new cards for my store and I used blue too xx

Great card with a beautiful image. It does look wonky (the sentiment). I'm with you as sometimes the photograph makes it look like that. [Bunny]

Oh, WOW, Faith! That's a really gorgeous card! I'm always so very impressed with what you create when you have no mojo! I've got lots of mojo but I'm struggling with trying to focus on anything since we lost my MIL.

I've also been missing Faith but it's lovely to see you back with this lovely rhapsody in blue! That floral is a beauty and I love the musical background and the pretty gems. Vicky x

PS Thank you for asking about my computer! It survived and even the keyboard seems ok but in my efforts to mop up, I forgot to unplug it and I've obviously pressed something I shouldn't have because my mail has gone haywire! Bit of a problem as tech is not my superpower!!

This is beautiful! Just consider being AWOL a much needed break. Sometimes that's all we need. ;) Take care, my friend!

Sorry to hear of the passing of Prince Philip. It's understandable with the mojo being off and on. You did creative a lovely card with beautiful flowers! And, I do love the tiny butterfly embossed next to the sentiment! Take care, hugs!

A beautiful card, Faith! The mojo waxes and wains at the moment I think. I have been crocheting and sewing, so have definitely been neglecting blog land, but still enjoying myself!

This is such a pretty card and the sentiment goes so well with the blue flowers. I'm glad you were able to create even though not really in the mood.
