Hello

Hi Everyone, I hope you're enjoying the glorious sunshine and warmth. Sorry I've not been bloggin'. No mojo or even wanting to make anything, so I thought I would  share a photo that I had put on FB, for a 10 day "life is good challenge", challenged by one of my nieces. Not even a scrapbook page, just a photo! I saw on Darnell's blog she chose to use the words "melon collie", Yep! I know exactly what she means!

This is of me at 18, just engaged, taken by my now hubby. His old Morris Minor in the background. Don't you LOVE the hair? I loved the dress it had such lovely bright colours, which I still like to wear, colours not the dress, I couldn't fit into it anyway LOL

No sunshine up here in Scotland Faith....It's been wild, windy and raining, with really nasty gusts of winds these past few days. What a wonderful photo of you and great memories for you too x. Thank you for sharing and loving the hair and the dress x.

My first boyfriend had a Morris Minor Faith! Happy days :)
What a stunning photo of elegant 18 year old you with perfect hair and a gorgeous dress. Isn't it funny how a black and white photo can trigger such vivid memories of colour?
I'm sorry you haven't been feeling like blogging or crafting lately. I had a go today and ended up making a big mess but no actual card lol!
Take care, Vicky x

Great photo of you Faith and I love the car too 😊. Talking of hair I’m so pleased that I’ll be able to get mine cut soon, it’s driving me mad although I’m not sure what my hairdresser will say when she sees how I’ve chopped bits off. Maybe the weather is affecting mojos as I’ve none either xx

A fabulous photo Faith, a beautiful dress - a time when women dressed like ladies.

We have had great sunshine too, but also heat and storms. Today, low humidity and a nice bright sunny perfect day! Melon collie is right, that has been me for quite some time now. I just can't seem to shake it or know what direction I want to go in life anymore. Lost my purpose when Dwayne passed. Anyway I am so loving this photo of you at 18!!! And yes, I am loving the hair too as well as the dress. Engaged! What wonderful memories for you Faith. I love the background of hubby's car, the gate an trees. I just love it this photo! You are such a beautiful person, inside an out my friend! Hugs, Brenda

Love your picture. It is fun to look back through old pics to see the hair styles that we once thought looked good. I like the dress, too.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful picture, Faith! The perfect keepsake for the happy time of being newly engaged! Luckily, crafting is still therapeutic for me, but I struggle to keep up on blog reading. Guess I need to be doing something, but I'm so glad to see this post!

I remember that hair style, Faith, and admit to having worn something very similar to that myself. ;-D What a fun memory.
