A Christmas Cracker - maybe?

Hi Everyone, my SiL's Sister is a very clever lady and writes great poetry too. My SiL sent me this poem, as she was so proud of what her Sister had done, I thought it wonderful, so made a card with it. I hope she likes it when she gets it. I believe she has gone on holidays for Christmas.

Before I show it to you, I had better explain for my non British friends, that this poem actually has an innuendo and I believe the "cracker" is a typically British Christmas tradition. This is what the Collins English Dictionary explains the meaning of "Cracker" - a decorated cardboard tube that emits a bang when pulled apart, releasing a toy, a joke, or a paper hat. a toy from a Christmas cracker
I went searching to try and show you what I mean and came across this site which explains more if you wish to go there?

The innuendo? The other meaning of cracker is "she is a cracker" meaning she is good looking.

Anyhow here it is.

What a brilliant poem, really clever! You've made the poem into a lovely card, I'm sure she'll be delighted when she receives it. I didn't realise that crackers are a British thing, you learn something ever day! I googled the differences in Christmas traditions in the U.K. and the U.S. and was surprised how many differences there are. Have a great Christmas, Faith. xx
