A card with metal!

Hi Everyone, a card today with an "Oops, I'm late" attached to it. I completely forgot that I had a DT card to do for today, so looked at my ideas for cards and cased this card pretty quick. I originally saw it HERE but can't find it on the blog now.
The challenge at -
My son had just finished a soft drink in a can, so I grabbed it quick, cut it flat and held it over the gas hob, to get a patina on it. DON'T do this without an extractor fan and a tool to hold the can while holding on the flame. The "right" side can flame, so PLEASE be careful.

I then cut it with a scissors to the size I wanted and embossed it. I also die cut the number out. The card was embossed and the paper and metal attached, then I stamped the sentiment and a little pattern onto the number circle. Quite a quick card! I used -
Crafters Companion basket weave folder.
  freebie magazine number die.
Cuttlebug birthday embossing folder
 Craft Sensation paper pad
stamps magazine freebies
Tattered Lace circle pin dot die

Well that's quite the quick card, my friend! Love the embossing on the can - food for thought! Such a great masculine make!

I've never used a pop can, but it sure does make a neat metallic element with the embossing you did!

Faith, OMG you are so creative. Never give you a torch, hehe. Remind me never to say that we need a project with jeans you might rip the pants off some man just to make your card, LOL. Let alone a zipper..... sorry now I'm being naughty. When I read that on your blog I laughed so hard. I'm sure you were making your son chug that soda and he was belching all the way home.
