Shaped card

My card today is a shaped card, after I decided to upgrade to Designer Edition on my Cameo, I had so many SVG files that I had to really play with, between programs I had, to open in Silhouette, so when I saw it was on offer, no option I HAD to do it. I paid £21.77 with £6.77 into my store credit. BARGAIN Ay? This is one of the files I haven't been able to open.

The card file and envelope is from Lettering Delights, I have had it for a couple of years, at least, and never used any of the shapes in the file.
A recent freebie on Create with TLC was this beautiful image.
I coloured her with ordinary coloured pencils
I didn't want to add too much colour.
I am pleased with how it's finished up.
The sentiment is also Create with TLC
coloured around the edge with a colour pencil
I cut both out with Tonic dies
the embossed background was done
 with Embossalicious folder onto
Shimmer card by Jellybeancrafts

Hey Faith, hope you're having a lovely week so far. This is fabulous! I love the shaped base and that paper looks shimmery and sort of iridescent! What an amazing image, love the chic style of that one. Your layout is so fun and unique, the slanted strips draw the eye right to your image, fun!! Hope all is well, sending hugs :)

Gorgeous! I love that wonderful background, especially with the embossing!

I have the Designer Edition for my Cameo as well. Money well spent, I say!

Beautiful shaped card Faith and the image is gorgeous. The Designer Edition of Studio is well worth investing in don't you think as it has so many more useful features especially if want to do a bit of designing yourself. Have you checked out the extra knife features and the eraser is much easier to use just for a start !!

Oh this is so classy, and I'm wow'ed with your softness in the pencil coloring. Blended so nicely too (I can't seem to manage that!) I love the shaped card and the pebble texture too. I upgraded my Silhouette Software version before the class (had not used the cameo in a while, so several upgrades had happened. I have the Designer Edition that was purchased when I first got it). Had a big library as I'd joined the club where you download images for a fee paid each month. Then once the upgrade finished, I couldn't find the bloomin' library, and thought I'd lost ALL of it. Sinking heart! But after some stumbling around, I did manage to get it to reload, so all was not lost. On the stencil cutting, if you do any, might consider purchase of the premium blade. I just had the 'regular' one. My teacher said while the premium is just a bit more costly, it lasts longer, and she cuts a lot of vinyl. Something else I've not tried. Never tried with the SVG files either. Great work on this lovely shaped card, Faith. TFS &Hugs

A very pretty card Faith and the colouring with pencils is brilliant. I've just acquired some but need to have a practice. The designer edition will make life a lot easier. Look forward to seeing more of your creations x
