Scrapbook page

Hi Everyone, you know I don't usually do scrapbook pages, but occasionally something comes up and I find it something I have to do. Today I have a photo of my Mum, taken days before she had a small stroke and went into hospital in February 2004, she never came out, she had a fatal stroke and died in the April aged a wonderful 91. She is with the eldest of her grandchildren. I enlarged the photo for the centre panel and used blending options of "luminosity" and opacity of 42% .
Of course you know what means LOL.

The papers are the current Dragon Lair Sunday Showcase freebie kit. Girlz World. It's a digital layout with a template by Our Misadventures.

  9. I LOVE the genius method you used to superimpose the faint picture of your mom into the swirly panel background paper! What a magical layout!

  10. Caught a glimpse of this when looking at the kitty card, and had to come back for a closer look at your lovely Mom. Such a beautiful page, a wonderful tribute & memory of your Sweet Mom. Love these soft feminine colors, and of course, that wonderful image paper design too. How clever to think of this, and more clever to be able to create it! I like the buttons and the way the arrow points to the comment for this layout. TFS & Happy Sunday. Hugs

  11. Such a beautiful page. I am so sorry your mom died from complications of a stroke. My aunt recently had a stroke but she recovered well. She was quite younger though at 50 years old. It's wonderful that your mother lived to 91! That is amazing.
