Sunday morning in Saint David's Pembrokeshire

Hi Everyone, just a piccie post today for you.  Hubby has been wanting to go to St David's in Pembrokeshire for a while, we haven't been for years, so on a beautiful day a few weeks ago we decided to go. Just an hour and a half and we were met with the most glorious colour sea I have seen in the UK for a long long while, just stunning.

St Davids is on the old Christian pilgrimage journey, it was supposed to be that you had to try and visit it 3 times in your life. Well I think we have done a few more than that, luckily we are not too far from it. Coming forward into History from the foundation of the Cathedral. The son of Owen Tudor (the Grandfather of Henry V11) Jasper, spent a lot of time at Pembrokeshire Castle and I should think he spent some time at St Davids too. Well I want to think so.

Anyhow, here's some piccies I took, nothing special, but I hope you like them.
This was what met us as we went over the hill to Newgale on the way to St Davids

You know you have me longing to see this, don't you?! The pictures are just grand, beautiful color and glorious ruins and buildings. I'm so glad you had a day out to enjoy this awesome scenery, and thanks so much for sharing with those of us who will never get to see IRL. I think I remember that HenryVII also spent time with his uncle at this place when he was just a small boy, before he had to flee from the Plantagenets. Hugs

Breathe taking scenes....thank you for sharing and taking me along on your journey through your photographs. Someday perhaps I might be lucky to cross the pond and venture there.

Hi there! This post couldn't be written any better!
Going through this post reminds me of my previous
roommate! He constantly kept preaching about this. I will send this information to him.
Fairly certain he's going to have a great read. Thank
you for sharing!
