Hello

Hi Everyone,

I have had the last day of my working life, yes I have retired! It has been a hard few of weeks for me, as I had to train a young man to take over from me, but only had 5 working days to teach him 14 years experience of the job. I don't envy the poor guy, he even told me he had gone to bed early as he was tired out! He's 26. I am finding it more difficult than I ever thought it would be.  Can't believe I've been a bit down about it too.

Oh! well here are a couple of cards for you, that made me smile, hope they make you smile too.

It's time for a new challenge at

 Digitally Sweet Challenges

the Theme is

Mothers

sponsored by  Lunergirl

For my DT, I produced them as one card in Photoshop and changed the sentiments as you can see, because I couldn't make up my mind which to use, I also did 2 interiors.  I used this sketch to follow.

Do you know a Mother like these?  I do LOL.

The image is from Lunagirl The pink paper is Vintage pink & brown by BGazaraek the stripe paper is by Pixelberry, the half circle is cardboard by Snickerdoodles, the beaded ribbon is by A Sailors, on my printed cards I layered the shape and banner and I added Glamour dust to the seated lady.  Here are the printed cards.

This is the interior of one, the "Time to Dance" card" has "...and Celebrate You"
The sentiments come from Gingers House.

These definitely made me giggle Faith! Sorry to hear you're feeling a bit down - it probably feels as if all that experience wasn't valued properly if they expect you to train someone up in five days but it's probably just very poor planning on their part. I'm willing to bet that the people you worked with valued you enormously. Enjoy your retirement like a gift! Hugs, Vicky x

Great cards. It will take time to adjust, you will soon wonder how you found time to go to work.
