21st birthday card & pictures

Hi everyone, I will try and be better at blogging and get into it again, anyway here goes for today.

I was asked to make a card for a friends daughter's 21st birthday, it had to include musicals, as each card, for quite a few years, have had the same criteria I was at a loss, then the light went on as I saw this image from KennyK, it is her, so just downloaded a few musical posters added to the card, added a background paper by Pink Petticoat and musical overlay by Marisa Lerin at Pixel Scrapper, coloured the image in PS.  Then cut out the music on staff by Scrapcationgetaway blog and 21 on my Cricut, added roses from Hobbycraft and finished off with lots of glitter, (shame you can't see it), I put it on the musical notes in the border and the cut out music staff.  Glad to say she was thrilled with it.
I'm not adding to any challenge because of the downloaded posters I used.

We went out today in the sunshine, the first we have had it seems for weeks and weeks, cold wind, but oh! so pleasant.  We went on a picture hunt, for me that is. We always went to the sea when the tide was in and it was windy, but, as it has been so bad we haven't this time, so I thought I would catch up with photos of the chaos left by the storms.  We went to the river and it wasn't as high as I have remembered it after storms, we went to the seaside and they had cleared up and there was very little sand still on the road, so I just took a few piccies and a couple of minutes of video which I haven't used on the camera before, because the sun was shining at last.

The old Neath & Brecon Railway Viaduct in Aberdulais, Neath
The arches of the Neath and Tennant Canal one blocked with debris from the storms.
One of the lock gates, of the, now in disrepair, Neath and Tennant canal.

Aberavon beach with a warning cloud! but at least some blue sky and defences still in place.
This is a waterfall which used to feed a watermill down stream, it runs under a coachway road.

this is the waterfall from the road it flows under. it's about a 30 - 40 foot drop
